And now, i think it's time for a nap before dinner. It's been pretty much a perfect day. We slept until 10, had a mexican omelette cooked by dennis, took a long walk through the ile de cite and the rive gauche, came home for a snack of foie gras left over from last night and wine and cassoulet, nap, and then later we'll go out for dinner.
This is the foie from last night, a special treat in that it was a vacu-packed whole lobe of liver, rather than a paste made from liver bits. it was 22Euros ($30) so you know it was good. Our champagne was only 21Euros:
We walked along the rive gauche (left side of the river) and saw another back-door into the louvre:
It threatened to rain the entire time, but it held off. Doesn't Paris look so... French?:
We looked for lingerie here, but, sadly, there was none:
And we passed this nutty Metro entrance. Tres francais, non?:
nap now. dinner details later, assuming they're worth it.
